Got no issue to add it just wondering if it shows up somewhere. Current Linux. UTS_MACHINE is set to $(OLDARCH) in arch/powerpc/Makefile, which is ppc or ppc64. I booted a p4080 kernel and did uname -m to verify. -Scott
