Hi Reinhard,

What about this [1] patch?

Are there any issues with it? Will you take it?

the arch/arm/arm920t/at91rm9200 is subject to be deleted soon!
If you have any device that require this patch then please change that
device to use arch/arm/arm920t/at91 immediately. You may have a look for
at91rm9200ek or eb_cpux9k2 boards to see how this works.

Dear Igor Grinberg,

please read doc/README.at91-soc. The goal of atmel rework is join all
trees to reduce duplicate code. So, do not change anything in
arm920t/at91rm9200. Please convert your board to use arm920t/at91 soc.

See at91rm9200ek or eb_cpux9k2 for an example.

Best regards

Jens Scharsig

Finally, I get some answer... Thanks!
No I don't have the hardware.
This patch was a part of something else, we tried to achieve (get rid of machine_is..).
If you say, it will be removed completely, then don't bother about this patch,
go ahead and kill it.

Actually I had planned to apply it, but if that makes no sense any more,
we can skip the effort.

For the "cleanup/rework" of RM9200 I have to rely on Andreas ;)

Best Regards,

Reinhard
