Hi All,
these patches introduce support for HTKW mcx board (AM3517-based)
including DaVinci EMAC driver fixes to work on AM35xx, SPL fixes
and OMAP3 EHCI support.
This is an updated version of previously posted patches:
http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.boot-loaders.u-boot/115016
Comments addressed, some care taken not to break DaVinci boards.

This patch moves common defines from arch-davinci/emac_defs.h to drivers/net/davinci_emac.h DaVinci specific PHY drivers hacked to include the new header. We might want to switch to phylib in future. Didn't you just submit a patch to disable dcache > on all boards with EMAC? Yes, on all arm926ejs boards. Look, arm926ejs has no implementation for {flush,invalidate}_dcache_range and I really have no time now to implement them. So I've just added no-op cache operations for CONFIG_SYS_DCACHE_OFF case to fix the compilation of DaVinci board. But it turned out that the builds are still broken because some DaVinci boards using EMAC do not disable D-Cache. Regards, Ilya. ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 17+ messages in thread

This is an updated version of previously posted patches: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.boot-loaders.u-boot/116535 Patches are rebased on the current master and no-op implementation for dcache operations on arm926ejs added. * [U-Boot] [PATCH 05/13] davinci_emac: fix for running with dcache enabled 2011-11-28 16:37 [U-Boot] [PATCH V3 00/13] Support " Ilya Yanok @ 2011-11-28 16:37 ` Ilya Yanok 0 siblings, 0 replies; 17+ messages in thread From: Ilya Yanok @ 2011-11-28 16:37 UTC (permalink / raw) To: u-boot DaVinci EMAC is present on TI AM35xx SoCs (ARMv7) which run with D-Cache enabled by default. So we have to take care and flush/invalidate the cache before/after the DMA operations. Please note that the receive buffer alignment to 32 byte boundary comes from the old driver version I don't know if it is really needed or alignment to cache line size is enough.
