Hi Mike and Tom,

please pull these sf changes to your tree.

Tom: I have sent private email to Mike but I haven't got any response
from him. Also I haven't got reactions on mailing list.
That's why I am not sure if Mike still cares about this subsystem.
If not, please let me know who is responsible for it or just add these patches
to your tree.
