Just a nitpick ... as this changes the output from fit_check_sign,
could you please adapt the "doc/uImage.FIT/signature.txt" file in
u-boot too, which shows a testing ouput for

"O=sandbox ./test/vboot/vboot_test.sh"

Beside of this, tested this series on the ids8313 board (fit_check_sign
on the host and target rootfs without issues):
