Is there already a document describing how to get U-Boot via git?

Not only to get it, but should we be moving to that instead of CVS?
It makes no difference to me, I just want to be using the proper
sources for updates (and to make Wolfgang's job as easy as possible :-))

Hmm. Where do I get cg-clone?

I wasn't in my git snapshot.

It's part of the cogito tools. Download and install cogito.

You can of course use plain git commands as well.
