I come across some problem when using xen-4.1.1-rc1-pre from xen-4.1-testing
tree and 2.6.32.36xen linux kernel from
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/jeremy/xen.git.
when I use 'xend restart' , it hangs when kernel dmesg printing 'Bridge
firewalling registered' and the console show below messages:

localhost# xend restart
Nothing to flush.
Cannot get current device settings: Operation not supported
  not setting speed
  not setting autoneg

I check the /var/log/xen/xend.log:

1655 [2011-04-26 10:17:16 4260] INFO (SrvDaemon:332) Xend Daemon started

the messages:

It looks like the network got borked.

What happens if you uncomment the line in /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp

(network-script network-bridge)

BTW, you would be best served if you emailed this to the xen-users mailing
list. We mostly deal with kernel issues while this is more of a setup.

Hey there, i have experienced similar errors with XEN, try to load xenstored
in first place ( # xenstored), then try to load xend with the line
(network-script network-bridge) commented. Im my case xend was in sleep
state cause xenstore couldn't run, therefore if u try to load xenstored
maybe you get an error output...
Try it and told us what do u get.
