Edit the configuration file.

 - vif          = [ 'mac=00:16:3E:12:34:01, bridge=br0' ]
 + vif=['mac=00:16:3E:12:34:01,bridge=br0']             

xl create test.cfg
xl list
Name                            ID   Mem VCPUs      State   Time(s)
 Domain-0                        0  1010     1     r-----    1072.3
 test                            6  2048     2     -b----       2.2

Looks like it didn't make any difference :-(

brctl show
 bridge name     bridge id               STP enabled     interfaces

xl console test
