I expect the NIC should have link in any configuration, bridge or openvswitch etc... This is really strange - it seems to me that the driver is not compatible with linux 3 running xen - but could this really be the case? I have opened a case with qlogic and waiting for a reply. If you have any other ideas I'm very happy to test.
