That's all very interesting and it's well worthwhile to keep that in mind for future steps in the field of NUMA support. In particular, virtual topology awareness of the guest is something really important to have, and I'll be happy to discuss/work/contribute/help on it in the near future. However, I'm still not sure I see how that ("guest NUMA") and live migration should affect (either now or during 4.3 dev cycle) the initial placement of a domain... That's what I was asking.
