Subject: [PATCH v2 7/7] x86/asm: Clobber %r{8..15} on exit to 32bit PV guests
Date: Wed, 3 May 2017 18:51:21 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1493833881-29284-1-git-send-email-andrew.cooper3@citrix.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <5909BB6C02000078001563AA@prv-mh.provo.novell.com>
In the presence of bugs such as XSA-214 where a 32bit PV guest can get its
hands on a long mode segment, this change prevents register content leaking
between domains.
