Keir,
while the corresponding code has been in place for a very long time,
I still stumbled across MSR_K7_HWCR being written for that purpose
in two places: c/s 6382 introduced command line controllable
behavior, while c/s 8831 added code to do the adjustment
unconditionally. Imo one of the two changes should be removed
again. What do you think?
