This change is incomplete as it lacks option passing for qemu
traditional and tools build.
I have a more complete change which I will post, hopefully later today.

I see your patch: [PATCH] tools/configure: add options to pass EXTRA_CLFAGS
Is different from my patch which adds parameters to qemu upstream configure
(for example --enable-spice --enable-usb-redir --enable-debug ecc...)

I tried with multiple parameters but not work:
./configure QEMUU_ADD_PAR="--enable-spice --enable-usb-redir --enable-debug"
...
configure: WARNING: unrecognized options: --enable-usb-redir
What I must do for add variable with multiple parameters in autoconf?
Thanks for any reply and sorry for bad english
