Can you boot xen with the additional options "loglvl=all
iommu=debug,verbose apic_verbosity=debug cpuinfo" and attach Xen's dmeg
`xl dmesg` and dom0's `dmesg` as a starting point.

I have to say that we have never countered symptoms like this when
testing XenServer, but on the other hand, we don't appear to have any
similar hardware.

Are you able to get a serial console attached?
