After some analysis, I have to say it's

  - a bug because -w option isn't recognized
  - but also a missing implementation of the --wait long option
  - it's also called with --halt option, which is ignored.

I cannot promise to fix it, nevertheless I will try. But I never used this
getopt stuff.
