<sigh> No. The reason it is not working is b/c you have this in your config:

# CONFIG_INTEL_IOMMU is not set


If you unset that (so CONFIG_INTEL_IOMMU=y) it will work.
Stefan, can this option be set in the Ubuntu kernels?
