Hi,
I am a newbie at virtualization and trying to change a hypercall. Ive read
in many articles that the code that implements hypercalls are in a file
called xen.h.
Since I installed xen on linux, I am trying to locate this file xen.h in my
pc but am unable to find it. Could anybody please tell me why is it not
visible in my folders?
I even searched it using locate but in vain.
Also I could not find entry.S using locate or searching through my folders.
Please help!
Thanks,
Naushin

It sounds like you've installed the Xen binaries that come with your
distribution, but not the Xen source code. If you haven't done
programming before, Xen may not be the best place to start.

As George said, you are (I'm afraid) obviously rather new at
programming, and also new at contributing to open source projects.
You need more experience on easier subjects; Xen is very complicated
and is a very difficult place to start.

Also, we heard you the first time. Please don't just keep repeating
your question.

Ian.

To be fair, my first real code experience was with the X server, which
is not a simple project either; my second was with the Linux kernel.
I had some very experienced people to answer all my total newbie
questions and point me in the right direction. Unfortunately, I don't
think this list can fill that role. If you have a mentor, ask them
these basic questions; if you're teaching yourself, something simpler
might be better.
