Hi Fellow Linux users
Is it possible to install Win4Lin V2 onto RedHat 7.2? I have two default
kernels installed which are :-
Kernel 2.4.7-9 (I think) and Kernel 2.4.10-31
I wonder whether I need to step back a few kernels to successfully install
Win4Lin 2
Any thoughts would be appreciated
Thanks in advance

According to the doc's i see no reason why it should not be possable.
I dont have win4lin but i do have experiance with vmware and so to see they
require much the same in the way of resources.

With vmware when its installed it will look for the kernel sources of the
"presant kernel" which means if you have not compiled a kernel on your redhat
system then you would need to do so because i suspect win4lin would do the
same as vmware, thats look for files like autoconf.h and a few others created
when one configures and compiles a kernel.
Please note, once again i am only comparing vmware and win4lin, so my notes
may not be totaly correct.
