I have this dongle and after upgrading kernel 2.6.4-rc1-mm1 when I
remove the dongle my laptop freezes.

This dongle has worked well before.

I can supply more information if necessary.

Thanks,

Gene

the DBT-120 exists as Broadcom and as CSR version. What version do you
have (hciconfig -a)? Is BT_HCIUSB_SCO enabled in your kernel config? If
yes, disable it. What USB host controller driver do you use?

Regards

Marcel

Disregard my previous post. 2.6.4-rc1-mm2 has fixed this problem.

Thanks,

Hi Gene,

I had now the same problem with 2.6.4-rc2. Please try to find the patch
from 2.6.4-rc1-mm2 that fixes your problem, because this needs to be
send to Linus before he releases 2.6.4 (final).

Regards

Marcel

Alan Stern is working on a better UHCI support that could explain it and
there was a unlink-while-submit patch for the OHCI driver I use. Please
check the latest 2.6.4-bk kernel and if it you still have a problem on
unplug post it to the USB mailing list, so some of the patches from the
-mm branch are forwarded for inclusion.

Regards

Marcel
