does usb audio support multi-channel?

Hi.  I would like to get the SB Live usb audio sound card and I would
like to know whether the usbaudio supports multi-channel operations
like the  SB live, i.e. an open when the device is being used, what
happens?

No, this is not a real SBLive, it does not contain the hardware DSP.  I
am not sure why they call it an SBLive because this is the SBLive's
distunguishing feature.
