I just upgraded from a painfully outdated 2.6.0-test6 kernel to
2.6.8.1 and now my CMI8738 quit working. All the modules are loaded
and /proc/asound/cards shows
0 [CMI8738 ]: CMI8738 - C-Media PCI CMI8738
C-Media PCI CMI8738 (model 37) at 0xa800, irq 12
Any thougts?

Sorry, this is not nearly detailed enough to constitute a usable bug
report. Please give more details than "it doesn't work".
