Bug reports forwarded to the 'alsa-devel' list

In the poking around recently I have noted that the bug tracking reports that
come back to the 'alsa-devel' list are forwarded now as "quoted printable". 
While this may be nice and all that, we had a conversation a few months ago (as
I recall) and having suffered through bunches of =3D's like others, somebody
found a way to turn this off.

Please, Please!!  can this be done again?

In digest mode (as I recieve it) the fact of quoted-printable gets lost, and I
suffer to much.  At one time there were people wanting to unsubscribe.

I'd mention more about spam, but that is not as annoying (or preventable) as
the quoted-printable mess.

Maybe. I need to find the place where phpMailer PHP 4.0 class forces 
processed e-mail to quoted-printable format. It's not a mantis bug.

Any phpMailer guru here? It seems to me that an automatic logic being
in phpMailer is somewhat broken (forcing the quouted-printable format 
for some e-mails - for example - new user notification is OK!!).

Please, stop complaining about spam on alsa-devel.  Use the URL in the
X-Spam-Report header.  That is what it's for.

Well, my mailer (evolution) handles this just fine.  What mailer are you
using that displays these with =3D's?

More annoying is that the Mantis reports to alsa-devel no longer contain
the text of the bug report.  They just have a link and the history. 
This is much less useful than the old way.

Yes, the last two bugnotes should be visible. Until I resolve these 
issues, I redirected report mails to my e-mail address.
