alsa driver for audigy 2 value

alsa driver for audigy 2 value

Dear Sir/Madam,
               recently, I have purchased a creative audigy 2 value sound
card. 
http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-doc/index.php?vendor=vendor-Creative_Labs#matrix,
on that site, the audigy 2 zs value link points to the
audigy 2 value sound card so therefore i supposed that Alsa
would support it.  But after i purchased it, someone told
me that alsa did not support it yet.  Is this true?  If so,
when would the driver be released.

The soundcard matrix is wrong.  It is not yet supported.

See alsa-devel archives from the past few days.  Creative donated a card
and James Courtier-Dutton is reverse engienering it.  So hopefully there
will be a driver soon.
