I'm pretty sure ip='off' used to work. That parameter should realy be
renamed kern_ip_config or such like.

I saw some older posts but no clarity their. I tried ip=off but xend
doesn't like that. Is their a way to disable the dhcp poller, or even
cheat and make it bind to something else to get it out of the way?
