        Hi I have changed my mobo, now i have an uli1697 based asrock
        AM2xli-esataII 
        
        i'm seeing this in the dmesg

Not yet. Please provide output of following (you need to to be root)
lspci -xxx
sensors-detect

(with newest sensors-detect -

This program will help you determine which kernel modules you need
to load to use lm_sensors most effectively. It is generally safe
and recommended to accept the default answers to all questions,
unless you know what you're doing.

So you can most certainly get hardware monitoring to work on this board
without using the ALi SMBus. You'll need a fairly recent kernel though,
as k8temp is only in -mm for now (will go to 2.6.19) and w83627ehf got
recent improvements as well.

Of course it doesn't explain why the ALi SMBus doesn't work, and it'd
be nice to fix it if possible, but if all you are after is hardware
monitoring, you can do without it.

is there the region of 5000 ?

Is base 5000, host enabled, iospace too. So I think it might work if
you can try following which is a bit dangerous and can lead to machine crash...

edit the i2c-ali1563.c

find this line:

change to:

compile, install, modprobe, run sensors-detect, send us the output of
sensors-detect,

modprobe i2c-dev
i2cdetect -l
should list the busses - find one which will say ALI @ 5000, and write the
number instead of X

i2cdetect X
