Perhaps a SCHED_PREEMPT class so such things can co-exist:
SCHED_BATCH == I never preempt.
SCHED_NORMAL == I preempt sometimes.
SCHED_PREEMPT == I always preempt my waker.
(end of random synaptic firing;)
