Hi,
I am searching for a new wireless adapter that provides 802.11N support with monitor mode.
Are the ath9k drivers providing monitor mode support at this point in time?
Specifically, I am looking at a WNDA3100 USB adapter that supposedly has an AR9170 driver according to the INF in the windows driver.
Is this chipset supported (I'm hoping its related to the AR9160 chipset), or should I look for another device with say the AR9160 chipset?

Yes, the monitor mode is working.

There is no USB support in ath9k. It's a PCI driver (that includes PCI
express, CardBus and other PCI varieties).
The first hit for "ath9k" on Google is quite clear about the supported
hardware.
