USE_MISC_DEVICE=boolean
    A boolean to enable (yes) or disable (no) using the autofs miscellaneous device. For example: 

Can someone explain to me what this option does?
What are the pros and cons of having USE_MISC_DEVICE=yes?
I am not able to find details online.
