After some tries to work with SLES i want to migrate to another disto with pv_ops kernel. What kernel best for dom0 in this case? I want to use oxenstored and libxl toolstack with pv-grub bootloader. Does i need to use kernel from xen.git tree or from linus 3.0? What kernel more stable in this case ? (now i do not need specific things like tmem, cleancache/frontswap/xenpagging and such..) Thank's for all suggestions. ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 2+ messages in thread

CC xen-users, BCC xen-devel Debian has had a pv_ops-based kernel for some time. Ubuntu and Fedora are planning to add back support officially in their upcoming releases. > I want to use oxenstored and libxl toolstack with pv-grub bootloader. > For libxl you'll want to make sure that you use Xen 4.1 or higher. > Does i need to use kernel from xen.git tree or from linus 3.0? > See: http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenDom0Kernels and http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenParavirtOps Hope that helps.
