Good morning,
Can I ask that a new release of alsa-plugins is rolled, incorporating
the PulseAudio stability fixes since 1.0.24? Gentoo has now stabilised
a newer version of PulseAudio, and I would have to start rolling a
distro patchset otherwise.
Generally I prefer to stay as close as possible to an upstream
release, to avoid our users seeking support upstream with our
downstream bugs.
A version 1.0.24.1 of plugins would be ideal. Is this in the cards please?
Regards,

Good afternoon,
Sorry to hear that there is no interest in an incremental release of
alsa-plugins. I shall be rolling a distro patchset instead.

Well, I have nothing against the new release, but also have little
motivation as well. Usually Jaroslav decides the release...
But, generally speaking, we are not good at all at release
management. More scheduled releases are needed.

I do apologise, I had somehow convinced myself it was Clemens who rolled
release tarballs. Jaroslav, would it be possible to have a 1.0.24.1
alsa-plugins release please?
Motivation here is the amount of PulseAudio fixes that has gone in. I
can see how you would not want to do a 1.0.25 as the churn in other
repositories has not been as great.
