Hello,
I'd attempted to create a user account on the Backports Wiki [1] last week,=
but still haven't received access.=A0 I did receive the email address veri=
fication email and I did follow the confirmation link.
Any suggestions on how to proceed?

I have no idea, probably best to email rt@kernel.org (the support desk)
