Hello Experts,

I have Intel D2700DC board with Cedarview Atom and GMA 3650. It seems that some support for GMA36xx was added to Linux kernel in 3.3.x but I cannot make it work. Here is all information I managed to gather:

kernel:3.3.5
xf86-video-intel:2.18.0
libva:1.0.15
intel-vaapi-driver:1.0.15
libdrm:2.4.31
xserver:1.11.4
Mesa:8.0.2

These are some relevant messages from kernel log:

[ 0.514355] pci 0000:00:02.0: [8086:0be2] type 0 class 0x000300

[ 6.023661] [drm] SGX core rev major = 0x00, minor = 0x00
[ 6.023664] [drm] SGX core rev maintenance = 0x00, designer = 0x00
[ 6.038486] [drm] Supports vblank timestamp caching Rev 1 (10.10.2010).
[ 6.038490] [drm] No driver support for vblank timestamp query.

[ 7.193244] [drm] Initialized gma500 1.0.0 2011-06-06 for 0000:00:02.0 on minor 0

and here some more:

# lspci -n | grep 00:02
00:02.0 Class 0300: 8086:0be2

So, is it something that has been addressed already of is it a bug?

This is a different Cedartrail GPU, which should be supported by the gma500
kernel driver. It is not supported by the i915 one, sorry.
