while there is a tested patch, there has not been a pull request or a mail
patch submission on the acpcia mailing list to get the fix mainline.
I like to wait until the patch is submitted and reviewed, best accepted.
Once this has happened, I can grab it.
Or better, if the patch is unmodified, you may want to create a submit
request via the Open SUSE Build Servcie (OBS) with a tiny changelog mentioning
the patch and I can simply accept it.

We are still finishing this up and testing it. There are quite a few cases to be considered and tested.
