[linux-lvm] GPG key?

[linux-lvm] GPG key?

Hi,

I've installed LVM on Debian Woody, so far so good, but I got rather 
frustrated by one thing:

Where is the public key used to sign the lvm source archive?  I couldn't find 
it anywhere.  Seems rather pointless signing the archive if the key isn't 
available.

That's a question for the maintainer of the lvm packages; the lvm
developers have nothing to do w/ that package.

No, I wasn't talking about Debian's package.  Debian don't presently have a 
Debian package for LVM 1.0.3, at least as far as I could tell.

I was referring to the actual source code, which I compiled myself.

Sorry, I realise now that mentioning Debian probably confused the issue.

ftp://ftp.sistina.com/pub/LVM/1.0/gpg-signature which is in the same
directory as the source archives points to AJ Lewis' key he used at
http://people.sistina.com/~lewis/gpgkey

Would be nice if it was mentioned on the download page, and maybe in the 
documentation or FAQ.
