Did you try the   raid-extra-boot  option for LILO ?  I really don't
know if this is the problem you are seeing, but it's worth a shot I
think.

Did you try the   raid-extra-boot  option for LILO ?  I really don't
know if this is the problem you are seeing, but it's worth a shot I
think.
