I see below that someone asked which VPN client to use....
I have the same question, but I will be a bit more specific.
How about a Windows Client??? The last time I looked there was not Freeswan
for Windows. Also, has anyone used the Cisco VPN Client?
Free would be nice....

To be more specific you have to say first what kind of VPN you're
talking about. PPTP or IPsec.

OK. IPsec. I think XP has a native IPsec client (it's just hear-say).
And yes, there is no freeswan for windows.
A much better and more comprehensive discussion as to what clients
to use and how, can be find on the freeswans doc pages.
