I am getting a Segmentation fault (core dumped) when trying to run rpm
-i or -u. What dependencies does rpm use? I figure it may be a program
that rpm is dependent on that is causing the error. Any help would be
much appreciated. Without rpm I am dead in the water.
Thanks

This is the error I get if I'm logged in as root. When I am logged in as user
dave rpm works ok.
rpm -rebuilddb
rpmdb: Program version 4.0.14 doesn't match environment version 3.1.14
error: db4 error(22) from dbenv->open: Invalid argument
error: cannot open Packages index
Thanks for your help.
