i looked through ftp.namesys.com and the web site, but i couldn't find the
patch that allows for >32meg journals. the reisertunefs man page mentions
that you need a patch, but the mkreiserfs man page does not. i'm looking for
a patch for 2.4.20 or .21-rc2. thanks.

The patches you are looking for are at ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/mason/patches/data-logging/2.4.21
(this is against 2.4.21-rc2, you need 02-.. and 03-.. patches).

I will update our site with this info.
