Your ISP Verizon seems to block mail from at least three major Australian
ISPs, their relays give code 550 messages saying that I am not allowed to
send. When connecting from a Dutch co-location center I can establish the
session, but the TCP session was cancelled twice after the subject of
"Verizon sucks".

Please get yourself a reliable mail service such as hotmail.com.

PS How's progress on SE-X?

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. If they are filtering my email
it is not by my request. I will promptly call them in the morning (it is now
9:44pm). Considering that I've also seen email delivery delays of four to
19 hours from them, I'm certain my call will not be pleasant for them.

Unfortunately, my involvement in SE-X was frustratingly, temporarily
side-lined for a number of weeks because of other obligations. I *will* be
back at it with a vengeance after our Thanksgiving holiday, with the goal of
having an experimental prototype available sometime in December.

Bill

*grin* Indeed, a Christmas present we would all love to receive.... :-)

Bill

PS: Russell, someone else sent me a test email with "Verizon sucks" as the
Subject line, and I did successfully receive it. I suspect the reason you
were blocked had nothing to do with Verizon's email servers (they are one of
the larger telcos in the USA), but instead may have been related to a topic
we were privately discussing in email and which is off-topic to this forum.
I will try contacting you later today to move this conversation off-list.
