Two updates:
One, my speech at the DFN-CERT workshop was very good, and
well-received by the audience of about 300 visitors. The moderator had
to cut the (15 min) questions session off and I continued answering
questions in the foyer for at least half an hour afterwards.
Interest in SELinux was very high, from university admins to
consultants with some bank ("sorry, I can't tell you which one").
Two, Carsten and I will be speaking again at the Cebit, europes largest
computer fair, on Friday, March 19. There is a "Linux Park" area with
scheduled speeches, and we were both invited to talk there, which we
gladly will. The audience there is expected to be quite technical and
knowledgable, and there will probably be a speech about RSBAC the same
day, so we may have a couple good questions to answer.
In other news, I can heavily recommend the Gentoo Live CD. I used it at
the DFN-CERT workshop for demoing an SELinux system. The absolute only
thing I missed was the policy sources, it would've been cool to be able
to show a few policy files as well.
