Thanks for creating a working driver for my hardware, it's marvelous.
However, last I tried to suspend the intel8x0 driver, it didn't work;
I had to unload and reload it. What are the prospects for working
suspend/resume in the intel8x0 driver?

PS: I think the OSS driver handles it OK....

please enter to bugtracking system with the enough information, the
ALSA version, kernel version, the hardware, the contents of all
/proc/asound/card0/codec97#0/* files, the exactly symptom, etc.

Done, bug #81. FWIW, suspending when idle results only in muteness
curable through mixer manipulation, but suspending when active results
in a process hang curable only with kill.
