Hi another updated version of latest reiser4 snapshot is available at:
http://kem.p.lodz.pl/~peter/cko/reiser4/
ps. Before you ask Markus - yes it survived 'bonnie++ -x 3' ;-) (thanks to
Vitaly probably...)

Hooray!

:D
Did you do apt-get install something on it?
It seems also Redeeman has the latter auto-snapshots working a-ok, so
there may be something in how Debian, the package list and tails work
together to cause the bug, which was also hit with bonnie++ -x 3 and
at random by xmms, mozilla and, err, something else...
Well, waiting for a fix to that one, and maybe I'll try -cko. If I
got around to do the video capturing thing I think Con's patches and
assorted others would enhance speed quite nicely...
Thanks!

Hi, I took reiser4-2004.06.16-19.36-linux-2.6.7-rc3-mm1.diff.gz from
http://namesys.com/auto-snapshots/ and it appeared to apply pretty well on
vanilla 2.6.7 kernel. So I made patches for vanilla and -cko available in:
http://kem.p.lodz.pl/~peter/cko/reiser4/
Hope those patches work ok :).
BTW great kudos to reiser4 team...

have you tried it? afaik reiser4 will apply clean on vanilla, however, i
think the internal changes in the kernel disallows reiser4 to run

Piotr's patches are working fine for me. Kernel 2.6.7 (vanilla) and
Reiser4 seem happy together.
