Setting up an announce-list would be a bit heavy to manage for me. I could,
instead, make sure to post the announce both here and on uml-devel, and add a
tag like "SKAS-announce" to the title. Would it be Ok for you?

I too would be in favour of an announce list - for UML in general,
rather than just for SKAS. Tagging with [announce] would certainly be
sufficient, but a separate list would make my procmail that little bit
simpler.

And beyond, there is always who does not want to follow the full discussion
but is interested in following the announces of stable versions. However,
either Jeff Dike gives someone else SourceForge.net access, or he does this
himself, or it will be difficult to get it.
Also, he said sometime ago that he'd like not being dependent on SourceForge,
so maybe he's not going to add another list there. I think that moving three
lists away is not very different than moving two ones to another provider, so
I hope the creation of a new list is possible.
