[uml-devel] Why is UML built static all the time?

Is there any easy way to get UML to do a dynamic build?  I tried removing 
-static from the makefile, but the build broke.

I'm just trying to see how small an "allnoconfig" UML build actually is.  
(Well, ok, that doesn't build, but with just tt switched on...)

Have you enabled TT mode? IIRC, dynamic build is a Kconfig option for
SKAS-only.

SKAS still only works with a modified host.  For the project that started me 
baking on this, if I had the ability to specify the host kernel, I wouldn't 
need to wrap my script in a UML instance...

Turn off CONFIG_MODE_TT.  The build will make a dynamic binary.

With tt mode enabled, UML must be a static binary.
