Hi,
I'm trying to get the Logitech Mobile Freedom headset working. I use
"hcitool scan" to find its address, and it identifies itself as
"Logitech HS02-V05". Now when I do btsco -v <bdaddr>, I get this:
> btsco v0.4
> Device is 1:0
> Error: Failed to connect to SDP server: Invalid exchange
> Assuming channel 2
>
> Voice setting: 0x0060
> Can't connect RFCOMM channel: Invalid exchange
What's the reason for this? I'm supposed to be able to enter the PIN
at this point. The headset is in pairing mode, and bluez works because
I can use minicom to issue AT commands to my phone at the same time.
I'm using the current CVS version of btsco, kernel is 2.6.11.6 and the
snd_bt_sco module loads just fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Andras

the headset hasn't found your cellphone has it?
the very first btsco step is to contact the phone and discover its
services (using sdp). this doesn't work if the headset's only available
connection is being used to hold a connection to another device.

I don't think so. The headset is in pairing mode, so it should not see
anything else anyway. Also, I just turned off my phone and tried again
(after powercycling the headset), and the exact same thing happened.
Any other ideas? :(

More info:
"hcitool info <bdaddr>" works fine for my mobile phone but gives this
when I try it on the headset in pairing mode:
> Requesting information ...
> Can't create connection: Input/output error
Anyone seen this before?

maybe the adapter? look at the debug section of bluetooth-alsa.sf.net
and post the various output here on the list.

I tried two different ones (BCM2033-based dongle, and the USB one
built into the Thinkpad X31), same results. Now if I do "hciconfig
hci0 voice 0x0060" before the btsco command, it seems to work,
i.e. alsamixer comes up with something sensible. On the other hand, I
haven't been able to get the headset to make any noise at all so far,
I've tried to play WAV files with aplay or mplayer and even tried
getting kphone to work -- no success so far. But at least it's moving
in the right direction...
