Hi all,

I need to know how to handle the buffer pool management in Linux.

Basically I want to write some os independent code for buffer pool
management in various OSs'.

So if I want to create a memeroy partition, addition of mem pool to the
partition, etc...which r the APIs' are available. If not how can I go
about it.

N what is memeroy map of Linux so that system unknown memory area I get
for this purpose.

hello everybody,
i am trying to develope a VFS.. As i am new to this
field i was trying to learn the present structures.. I
was not able to follow the usage of the function
"filldir()".. please if anyone could help me out.. i
want to know the explanation of how it works.
