Hey All,
Just thought I'd point out a nice resource that I've used to put together quite a few patches.
The LinuxICC project (http://linuxicc.sf.net) builds the kernel with Intel's C compiler and logs and
categorizes some more useful warnings not present in GCC.
Also by the same developer, is LinuxCPD, the Linux copy and paste detection program (http://linuxcpd.sf.net).
He uses Red Hill consulting's Simian analyzer to locate copy+pasted code in the kernel, which could be consolodated,
or could contain errors without careful checking.
