I think kexec list should be good for this too. Anyway we are discussing
kdump also on kexec list and makedumpfile is so closely related to
kdump.

I hope so.
I would like to discuss makedumpfile on kexec list because it is not
much traffic about makedumpfile and it is related to kdump as Vivek said.

kexec may not have been entirely the best name for the list, but
at least its kind of short :-)
I think its entirely appropriate for discussions of kdump and
makedumpfile to be carried out on the kexec@ list. In fact, anything
related to kexec and crash analysis tht was on fastboot@ is more
than welcome on the kexec list in my book.
