Hai all,
This is Prasad, please help me.Please answer the following
questions.
1.What is the diffrence between swap partition and swap file?
2.If i create swap file, will it reside in host kernel?
3.Is it possible to create swap partition(disk partition) for UML?
4.I am trying to mount a file from host kernel to guest kernel.....can any
one give me a way to do that?
5.What is the diffrence between skas0 and skas3?
I am sorry to ask you too many questions?
rgds,
Prasad.

Swapping on a disk partition vs swapping into a file.

Of course - everything on the system resides in the host kernel.

Sure.

host% uml_mconsole <umid> config ubdb /path/to/host/file
UML# mount /dev/ubdb /mnt

skas3 requires a patch to the host kernel, skas0 does not, and will
run on a stock host.
OTOH, some operations are faster on a skas3 host.
