Hello,

I am the new maintainer for the mlmmj package in Debian. Yesterday I
uploaded 1.2.14-1 for sid which has started to appears on the mirrors.

Sorry for the delay in getting it up. QA wanted to do some policy fixes
to the package before I took it over. Their update was 1.2.11-8 which is
now in lenny/testing. I should be more prompt with 1.2.15.

For my next upload I'm thinking about doing some work to mlmmj-make-ml
which has had some "Debianisation" done to it. Do people commonly use
mlmmj with Exim and Postfix? Any other MTAs?

Also Debian sid will be shortly dropping php4 in favour for php5. Are
the php web interfaces for mlmmj known to work with php5?

Thanks,
Dan

Cool, thanks for adopting the package.

Yes :)

Sendmail and a few on qmail.

Wow. I guess quite a lot of websites have to port their code now.

I haven't tried that.

Only if they're mad enough to run sid/unstable on a production server.
Hard to tell how far off Lenny will be to become stable with Etch just
being the new stable. I don't know the full plans of the php migration.

There's a wiki page about it:

 http://wiki.debian.org/PHP4Removal

That's all I know about it.

Yeah, ok. It's just that your (very fine) distribution is not known
as first movers ;-) And I know a lot of web sites still depending on
php4. But it's probably the right move anyway.

If you find any problems with mlmmj's web interfaces, please tell.
